Is invoice44 really free?

Yes — completely free. No subscription, no credit card, no usage limits. You can create unlimited receipts and invoices at no cost. The app is supported by occasional non-intrusive ads.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. invoice44 is a Progressive Web App (PWA). After your first visit it installs a service worker that caches the entire app. Open it anytime — at the market, in the field, anywhere — even with no internet connection.

How do I install it on my phone?

Open invoice44 in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone). Tap the browser menu → "Add to home screen" or "Install app". It appears on your home screen and runs like a native app — even offline.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device, in your browser's local storage. invoice44 never uploads your business information, customer data, receipt history, or logo to any server. You own your data completely.

How many templates are there?

150+ templates across 10 categories: Classic (20), Modern (20), Thermal POS (15), Elegant (15), Bold (15), Minimal (15), Colorful (15), Business (15), Luxury (15), Retro (10), and Creative (10). New templates are added regularly.

Can I use my own business logo?

Yes. Upload any image (PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP) and it will appear on your receipts. If you don't have a logo, click "Auto-generate" and invoice44 creates a clean monogram from your brand name in your chosen colour.

Which currencies does it support?

Can I edit the Word file after downloading?

Yes. The Word download is a standard .doc file that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages, and LibreOffice. You can edit every element including amounts, names, and branding.

What's the difference between receipt and invoice?

A receipt confirms payment has been made. An invoice requests payment — it's sent before payment. invoice44 supports both, plus Quotations, Sales Orders, Delivery Notes, and Proforma Invoices. Choose the document type in Step 2.

Can I send the receipt via WhatsApp?

Yes. Download as JPEG or PNG (optimised for messaging apps), or use the Share button to send directly to any app installed on your phone — WhatsApp, Telegram, email, SMS, and more.
