Frequently asked questions
How do caterers bill per head?
Add a line with the per-guest rate and the guest count as the quantity. invoice44 multiplies it and totals the order.
How do I handle a deposit?
Issue a deposit invoice when the booking is confirmed, then a final invoice showing the deposit paid and the balance due.
What if the headcount changes?
Update the guest quantity on the final invoice before the event. Note your minimum-numbers policy in your terms.
Can I add a service charge?
Yes — add a "Service charge" or "Gratuity" line if it applies, kept separate from the food total.
